Herb Luncheon

Friday, June 16, 2017, at noon, under the big tent in Jackson Square.

Our keynote speaker is James R. “Rick” Riddle, founder and president of the Appalachian Region Wine Producers Association.

Rick and his wife, Donna, own Seven Springs Farm outside of Maynardville, TN. Their son, Jim Riddle, runs a cattle operation, pick-your-own berry patches, and a large garden growing hundreds of varieties of vegetables. Jim and Donna sell at area farmers markets and in their on-site farm store.

Rick and Donna’s daughter, Nicole Riddle, is a talented winemaker and owns The Winery at Seven Springs Farm. She has won numerous awards for her wines in competitions throughout the South. She tends the farm’s five-acre vineyard and has just harvested her first crop of Tennessee grapes, which are being transformed into award-winning wine!

Rick will be talking about the importance and benefits of growing the Tennessee wine industry.

Tickets are $25, and include a glass of Tennessee wine. They go on sale May 1 through June 14.
